What it use to be...

For some reason people seem to think that saying "sorry" or that "they didn't mean it" will unbreak what they have broken, but things don't work that way. Once something is broken, it can't be unbroken. You might be able to sort of repair some of the damage, but you cannot unbreak it. There will always be the shadow of what once was but can never be again. There will always be the spaces in between what you had and what you have now. It will never be the same again. It might be better; it might be worse. But it will never be the same. Once something becomes tainted, you get it back to the innocent untainted muse that it once was.
