A stroll down memory pain...

Our subconscious is a very interesting thing. It creates whole different worlds in our dreams, yet it will also portray what already exists. Sometimes it will portray things most painful to us. I'm not really sure why, but it seems to happen that way.  Then, we end up thinking about them the entire day, reliving things we could barely stand the first time around. Perhaps our subconscious does it to torture us or maybe just to remind us, but either way it makes an impact.
