Emotions are annoying little f*cks. They are, unfortunately, a package deal. You can block them all out, but if one comes back, they all come back. No matter how hard you might try, you can't only keep the ones you like. You also cannot choose how intensely you feel these emotions. In other words, you have absolutely no control whatsoever over your emotions.
