Could VS. Should...
Confusion is most commonly when we know what we want but are too afraid to admit it to ourselves. When we ask people for advice, we usually know what we want them to say, but we want to hear it from someone else as to justify our decisions. Hiding behind pathetic excuses to make the choices we want even when we know they aren't the ones we should make. However, we refuse to let ourselves even think the answers we want. We don't want that to be the answer, so we ask other people. We partially want them to say the answer we know, and we partially want them to say the smart answer. Because the answer we know is the one we secretly want, but the smart answer is the one we know we should follow. Usually it is choosing between heart and mind. However tempting it may be, choosing your heart is never the smart idea.
