Life is a masquerade...

It's amazing how we can be around someone our whole lives and never truly know them. We may think we do, but people are rarely what they seem. We can talk to them every day and still never know what they are hiding. The thing about people is that we can only know as much about them as they let us. Pry and guess all you like, but you can never know for sure. The scary thing is that most of the time we don't even know that we don't know. We just accept their mask as their face after seeing it for so long that we never even realize that it is simply made of plastic.
