Silence isn't golden...

There are those things, the things that we know but refuse to actually let in. We don't let them past our walls. We know them, maybe even can say them, but we don't actually take them in. We can't. We protect ourselves from information that we know will break us. We just let the information lie there at the surface as we try desperately to avoid it. We try not to think about it because then, it might actually sink in, so we push it away. Slowly, it eats away at us, haunting us. The longer we keep it away; the deeper the grave we dig for ourselves' by refusing it.
