Are the walls to keep others out or to keep yourself in?...

It's usually the ones that swear they will never leave that are the first ones out the door. They stay until they find out how truly screwed up you are. You let them get a glimpse of what's in your head, and they run away. They say they can handle it and that nothing would change how they felt about you, but they only say that because they don't know what's really in there. They think that they expect the worse, but they have no idea what they're in for.
