Toys, toys, toys...
People throw around the word love like it's a play toy, and when one does this, someone's heart is attached. It may bother you; it may not. Either way, that other person on the other end gets extremely damaged and hurt worse than they thought humanly possible. Often times people forget that saying "I love you" doesn't just vary with how you feel; the other person's emotions are now intertwined as well. Just because you don't mean it, doesn't mean that the other person won't believe it. This doesn't just cause short-term damage but long-term as well. It makes it harder for the other person to trust people again. It makes it harder for them to let anyone in again. Not to mention, the fact that they are now brutally scarred by what you did and that you are no longer there anymore. They are now dealing with pain, trust issues, the hole that you left, and having to get up and still function every day.
